Scope
This privacy policy applies to the White Plate Journal mobile application together with related services operated by MICH, RICH &MEG LTD (the “Service Provider”). The policy explains what information is and is not collected during normal use of the Application.
What information does the Application obtain?
The Application is designed to work without requiring users to register or provide personal account information. During ordinary use, the Application does not collect, log or store personal information. If the Application is used while connected to the internet, limited technical data such as a temporary IP address may be exchanged for routine connectivity, but the Service Provider does not use that information to identify users.
How is information used?
Because personal information is not collected during normal use, there is no profile building, account-level tracking or behavioural marketing associated with the Application. Any information voluntarily sent to the Service Provider through direct communication channels is used only for the purpose of responding to the request or maintaining legitimate administrative records.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?
No. The Application does not collect precise location data from a user’s mobile device.
Do third parties have access to information obtained by the Application?
No personal information is shared with third parties through normal operation of the Application because such information is not collected in the first place. If a user chooses to contact the Service Provider directly by email, that correspondence is handled only for support or administrative purposes.
Opt-out and uninstall options
If you no longer wish to use the Application, you may stop using it at any time and remove it from your device using the standard uninstall process. If you previously sent information directly to the Service Provider and would like assistance regarding that communication, you may contact hamish7thornton@gmail.com.
Data Retention
The Application does not retain personal information generated through ordinary use. If you voluntarily provide personal information directly to the Service Provider — for example, through support correspondence — that information may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, meet administrative needs, or comply with legal obligations. When it is no longer required, the Service Provider will remove or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of personal information that you voluntarily submitted directly to the Service Provider. To do so, email hamish7thornton@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the request. The Service Provider will take reasonable steps to delete relevant information unless retention is required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher minimum age required by applicable local law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If it becomes aware that information from a child has been provided directly, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it promptly.
Security
The Service Provider applies reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information it may receive directly. While no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed as completely secure, the limited data model of the Application reduces the amount of personal information at risk.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page together with a revised effective date. Previous versions may be requested from the Service Provider using the contact email below.
Your consent
Where you choose to contact the Service Provider and provide information voluntarily, you consent to the handling of that information as described in this policy. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for future handling.
